Miss UKNepal is going to Everest Base.

Gaumaya is fundraising for Childreach International.
Gaumaya, current Miss UK Nepal and an optometry student at Aston University. Her giving journey started as a volunteer at Oxfam then British Red Cross, Kith and Kids and Sudbury Neighbourhood Centre. She continued by organising free GCSE tuition classes. After her summer visit to Maiti Nepal in 2010, they formed a group in UK (now called Mukti) to fundraise and create awareness about girls trafficking. In the same year, she did the highest canyon swing for a charity. In 2011, they were able to raise over £3000 for Kopila Valley School kids, Surkhet Nepal. During the year 2012, she is planning to go back to Nepal to explore adventures of climbing via Childreach International. The fundraising target is £2500 and will go towards telemedicine and education of children. It's a 19 days trip and Everest Base Camp is our final destination. Says she can't wait to go around villages, meet my fellow people, learn more about their cultures and enjoy the breathtaking views from the top of the world.
She sees it as a great opportunity to bring (UK) Nepali organisations based on caste and geography together, along with the existing business companies and restaurants.
